Monday Motivation

This week is our first “real” week after having spent the last month painting our new place, exploring and getting familiar with our surroundings, and preparing for my husband to start school. Today was his first day! I will be posting more about our move later, but to start the week off right here are some of the things I’ve been looking at lately!

Love yourself. This quote resonates with me currently in our move here – I am taking a bit of a break from traditional architecture and working for a planning/development management company remotely and focusing on my health and wellness!

Beautiful. “In the Japanese tradition of kintsugi, broken things are repaired with gold (or silver) joinery, so that the repaired object is even lovelier than the original — and the breakage and repair becomes an important part of the object’s history, rather than something to disguise.” or in this case other like materials.

Currently coveting these beauties. I feel like they are made for architects – it is a figure-ground diagram of the City of L.A. – and you can choose from other cities like Berlin and Tokyo. Gonna have to save up!

Inspo – excited about the prospect of accumulating items from our travels! And love the layering of the pillows and blankets <3!

Have a great week friends!
